What is the name of Butcher's dog?

What is the name of Butcher’s dog? Butcher’s dog is named Terror.

Terror is Billy Butcher’s bulldog and a character adapted from the original comic series by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. In the television adaptation, he is associated with Butcher’s personal life and helps show a more protective, affectionate side of a character otherwise defined by rage and violence.

Terror is referenced in the first season and appears more fully in Season 2. Because of Becca’s disappearance, Terror is living with Butcher’s Aunt Judy rather than constantly accompanying the Boys. This differs from the comics, where Terror has a much more prominent presence alongside the team.

The name is easy to mix up with famous fictional dogs such as Cujo, Bruno, or Rex, but those are not Butcher’s dog. Terror is also distinct from the show’s superpowered characters: he is a bulldog, not a supe.
