Pokémon Pokopia supports up to four people playing together. The game offers both online multiplayer and local wireless multiplayer for cooperative habitat building.
Multiplayer lets players share the relaxed creative side of Pokopia rather than competing in standard Pokémon battles. Friends can work on towns, decorate spaces, and enjoy the game’s Pokémon-focused activities together.
The maximum of four people applies to the game’s supported multiplayer session size. It should not be confused with the number of players in a traditional Pokémon battle, the number of Pokémon in a party, or the number of people who can visit indirectly. Local wireless play also has extra hardware requirements, including a compatible controller for each player.
