The maximum individual Famitsu score for Pokémon Pokopia was 10 out of 10.
Famitsu's review involved four critics, who gave the game a combined score of 39 out of 40. Three of the four reviewers awarded a perfect 10, while the overall total remained one point below a perfect aggregate score because the fourth review was lower.
This fact is easy to mix up with the game's total Famitsu result. The answer is not 39 out of 40, because the question asks for the highest score from an individual reviewer. Pokopia also received favorable responses from other review aggregators, but those systems use different scoring methods and should not be substituted for Famitsu's four-reviewer format.
