What is the full name of Assassin's Creed III: Liberation protagonist Aveline?

The story behind the answer

Aveline de Grandpré is the protagonist of Assassin's Creed III: Liberation.

Aveline is a French-African Assassin active in eighteenth-century New Orleans and Louisiana. Her story explores slavery, colonial power, and shifting identities while she works against Templar influence. The game gives her three disguises—Lady, Slave, and Assassin—which affect access, movement, and available actions.

Liberation was first released in 2012 for the PlayStation Vita. It was later remastered and released for other platforms as Assassin's Creed III Remastered's companion content. Aveline is not the same character as Élise de la Serre, the French Revolution-era Templar and friend of Arno in Assassin's Creed Unity.

Aveline's family background and New Orleans setting distinguish Liberation from Assassin's Creed III's main colonial storyline. The game is connected to the larger series through its historical conflict and through the Abstergo framing device, but it tells a self-contained story with its own protagonist and regional focus.
