The first paid expansion in Pokémon Pokopia’s three-part pass is called Bubbly Basin.

Bubbly Basin is the first part of the game’s paid expansion pass and released in August 2026. The expansion adds an aquatic-themed area and expands the game’s exploration and building possibilities.

A related update allows players to dive underwater and reach regions that were previously inaccessible. The underwater content also introduces aquatic Pokémon and new furniture with a water-focused theme.

The expansion pass has three planned parts in total. Bubbly Basin is the first; the other two parts are scheduled for late 2026 and 2027. It is therefore different from the game’s free updates and from the original base-game release in March 2026.
