What is Tangrowth called after becoming Ditto’s guide in Pokémon Pokopia?

Tangrowth is called Professor Tangrowth after becoming Ditto’s guide in Pokémon Pokopia.

Professor Tangrowth is the first major character Ditto meets after awakening in the Withered Wasteland. Because Tangrowth has remained in the devastated world, it can explain the disappearance of humans and other Pokémon, even though it does not know where they went.

The professor title reflects Tangrowth’s role in the story rather than a species change. Tangrowth remains the same Pokémon, but it helps Ditto understand the world and supports the effort to rebuild Pokémon habitats. The discovery of a Pokédex gives the pair a practical way to track the Pokémon returning to the area.

This name is easy to mix up with Tangela, Tangrowth’s pre-evolution, or with Ditto, the playable character. Professor Tangrowth is a specific story character, while Ditto is the transformed protagonist carrying out the restoration work.
