What is rapper Eminem's full name?

Rapper Eminem’s full name is Marshall Bruce Mathers III. He was born on October 17, 1972, in St. Joseph, Missouri, and later became closely associated with Detroit’s hip-hop scene. Although he is often called simply Marshall Mathers, the complete name includes his middle name, Bruce, and the suffix III.

The stage name “Eminem” developed from his initials, M.M., which were first represented as “M&M” before being stylized as “Eminem.” He also performs through the fictional alter ego Slim Shady, but Slim Shady is not his legal name or full personal name.

Mathers became internationally famous after The Slim Shady LP was released in 1999, followed by The Marshall Mathers LP in 2000. He also starred in the semi-autobiographical film 8 Mile, whose song “Lose Yourself” won the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 2003—the first Oscar in that category awarded to a hip-hop artist.
