What is Olivia Rodrigo’s third studio album called?

Olivia Rodrigo’s third studio album is called “you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love.” The title is stylized entirely in lowercase, matching the album’s official presentation.

The record followed Rodrigo’s albums SOUR, released in 2021, and GUTS, released in 2023. It was released on June 12, 2026, and became the third studio album in her discography.

The album’s long title contrasts romantic happiness with sadness. Its songs trace a relationship from intense infatuation through conflict and emotional fallout, giving the project a loose narrative shape.

Listeners sometimes confuse the album with Rodrigo’s previous records because all three center on personal songwriting and changing relationships. SOUR introduced her internationally, while GUTS explored the period after that debut. This album focuses more directly on love, longing, and the instability that can accompany romance.
