What is Dragon Levi Roots’s birth name?

Dragon Levi Roots’s birth name is Keith Valentine Graham.

Levi Roots is the stage name of Keith Valentine Graham, the Jamaican-British musician and entrepreneur who became famous for Reggae Reggae Sauce. The name “Levi Roots” was already associated with his music and public persona before his food business became widely known.

Roots appeared on Dragons’ Den in 2007 to pitch his sauce, which was based on a family recipe. The pitch became one of the programme’s most memorable food-business moments and helped turn the product into a national brand.

The sauce was later sold in supermarkets under the Reggae Reggae Sauce name, while the wider business became associated with Levi Roots branding. Viewers sometimes assume Levi Roots is his legal name because it is the name used commercially, but biographies identify Keith Valentine Graham as his birth name.
