What is Chef Dente's Pokémon species in Pokémon Pokopia?

Chef Dente is a Greedent in Pokémon Pokopia.

Chef Dente is one of the game's special Pokémon characters. The character once belonged to a chef trainer, which explains the culinary nickname and role. Unlike a generic resident, Chef Dente is identified by a memorable name and a personal background.

Greedent is a squirrel-like Pokémon associated with food and berries in the wider Pokémon series, making the chef identity a fitting character detail. In Pokopia, named Pokémon help give the restored world more personality as the player builds places for them to live and interact.

Chef Dente is easy to confuse with ordinary Greedent residents or with other food-themed characters. The question asks for the species behind the named character, not the character's occupation or former trainer. Pokopia also features other special Pokémon, including Smearguru, Mosslax, Peakychu, DJ Rotom, and Tinkmaster.
