What high school does Peter Parker attend in the comics?

Peter Parker attends Midtown High School in the comics. It is the fictional Queens school where Peter is portrayed as an intelligent but socially isolated student before he graduates and attends Empire State University.

Midtown is closely tied to Peter’s early life as Spider-Man. His classmates include Flash Thompson, Liz Allan, and, in many stories, other future allies and rivals. Peter’s science teacher Raymond Warren is also connected to Miles Warren, who later becomes the villain known as the Jackal.

Readers sometimes confuse Midtown High with Midtown Science High School or Midtown School of Science and Technology. Those longer names are used in particular adaptations, especially the films, while “Midtown High School” is the standard comics answer. Empire State University is Peter’s college, not his high school.
