What hairbrush brand did Shaun Pulfrey pitch on BBC's Dragon's Den?

The story behind the answer

Shaun Pulfrey pitched the Tangle Teezer hairbrush brand on BBC's Dragon's Den.

Pulfrey developed the product after working as a hair colourist and observing how difficult it could be to remove tangles without pulling or damaging hair. The brush used rows of flexible teeth designed to move through tangled hair.

He presented the idea on Dragon's Den, but the Dragons did not invest. The refusal did not prevent the product from succeeding: Tangle Teezer later built an international retail presence and became a recognised detangling-brush brand.

A common mix-up is to identify the product simply as a comb. Tangle Teezer is the brand name, while the original concept was a specialised detangling hairbrush. GHD and Denman are separate haircare brands and were not Pulfrey's Dragon's Den pitch.
