What Golden Globe category did Stephen Graham win in 2026 for Adolescence?
Answer
Best Male Actor in a Limited Series
Stephen Graham won Best Male Actor in a Limited Series for Adolescence at the 2026 Golden Globes.
Graham plays Eddie Miller, the father of the teenager at the center of Adolescence. The four-part series investigates the emotional and social consequences of a violent crime while shifting its focus among the boy, his family, police investigators and school life.
In addition to starring, Graham co-created and co-wrote the series with Jack Thorne. His Golden Globe victory therefore recognized his acting performance, not his behind-the-scenes work. The production itself won Best Television Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television.
The category is separate from Best Male Supporting Actor in Television, which went to Owen Cooper for the same production. Graham’s award was for the lead male performance in a limited series, while Cooper’s was for a supporting role.
