What fictional professor helps Ditto restore the world in Pokémon Pokopia?

Professor Tangrowth helps Ditto restore the world in Pokémon Pokopia.

Professor Tangrowth is a Tangrowth who has taken on the role of studying the damaged environment. After Ditto awakens in the abandoned region, it meets this unusual researcher, who is investigating why humans and Pokémon have left.

Together, Professor Tangrowth and Ditto work to restore habitats and bring the Pokémon population back. The professor is therefore part of the story’s central mystery as well as its ecological rebuilding mission.

Professor Tangrowth should not be confused with Professor Oak or another human Pokémon professor. The character’s title is paired with the Pokémon species Tangrowth, making it a distinctive fictional name within Pokopia. This is also why the answer needs both “Professor” and “Tangrowth,” not just the species name.
