What female athlete can be seen in the movie "Mile 22"?

The female athlete seen in the movie Mile 22 is Ronda Rousey. She plays CIA operative Samantha “Sam” Snow, also identified as “Child 3,” a member of the film’s Overwatch team.

Released in 2018, Mile 22 is an espionage action thriller directed by Peter Berg and starring Mark Wahlberg, Lauren Cohan, Iko Uwais, and John Malkovich. Rousey’s role places her in the film’s heavily armed tactical unit, allowing the production to use her real-world combat-sports presence and athleticism.

Rousey was already internationally famous before appearing in the movie. She became the first American woman to win an Olympic medal in judo, earning bronze at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. She later became a UFC champion and one of the most recognizable women in mixed martial arts. A common mix-up is confusing her appearance in Mile 22 with her roles in The Expendables 3 and Furious 7.
