The structure that starts Pokémon Pokopia’s Team Initiation Challenge eventually reveals itself to be a rocket ship.
During the story, Ditto and Professor Tangrowth encounter a mysterious tower. It initiates a Team Initiation Challenge that asks Ditto to provide items supposedly needed for Pokémon welfare.
After Ditto restores habitats and completes the challenge, Professor Tangrowth and Ditto celebrate with party poppers. The celebration accidentally activates an emergency evacuation protocol, exposing the structure’s true purpose.
The rocket then launches into outer space. This discovery connects the game’s environmental mystery to the fate of humanity: people left the planet and stored Pokémon in a large computer system designed to release them if the system began failing.
