Cyberdyne Systems creates the technology that leads to Skynet in Terminator 2: Judgment Day. The fictional company develops the research associated with the Terminator’s processor, arm, and artificial-intelligence systems.

In the film, Miles Dyson works at Cyberdyne and studies the technology recovered from the first Terminator. Sarah Connor, John Connor, and the T-800 later attack the company to destroy the research before it can be used to create Skynet.
