What badge represents NFL Honors winners in Madden NFL 27?

NFL Honors winners are represented by the Gold NFL Shield in Madden NFL 27.

The game adds a gold NFL Shield to players who earned major NFL Honors awards. The listed honors include Most Valuable Player, Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Offensive Rookie of the Year, and Defensive Rookie of the Year. The badge is a visual way to connect in-game player presentation with recognized achievements from the real NFL season.

The Gold NFL Shield is not a player rating, an ability, or an Ultimate Team item. It is a presentation detail that helps identify award-winning athletes. It also differs from the game’s Superstar abilities and X-Factors, which affect gameplay and player development.

This feature contributes to Madden NFL 27’s emphasis on current-season authenticity. Along with updated uniforms, stadium details, broadcast elements, and weather, the award badge helps the game reflect recent league accomplishments.
