What alias is used by Ratonhnhaké:ton in Assassin's Creed III?

The story behind the answer

Ratonhnhaké:ton uses the alias Connor Kenway in Assassin's Creed III.

Ratonhnhaké:ton is a Kanien'kehá:ka protagonist who adopts the name Connor after leaving his village. The name helps distinguish him in the colonial society where much of the game takes place. He becomes an Assassin and fights against Templar plans during the American Revolution.

Connor's father is Haytham Kenway, a Templar Grand Master and the playable protagonist of the game's opening sequence. Connor's grandfather is Edward Kenway, the pirate protagonist of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. This family connection links several major games.

The game moves through Boston, New York, and the American frontier. Haytham, Edward, and Connor all belong to the Kenway family, but they do not share the same allegiance. Connor is therefore the correct name for Ratonhnhaké:ton's adopted public identity.
