At school, Aang discovers that students are expected to memorize a rigid, patriotic version of Fire Nation history. His presence brings energy and playfulness into the classroom, but it also puts him at risk of exposing himself. He eventually encourages the students to dance, an activity discouraged by their strict educational system.
Kuzon is not Aang’s name, title, or permanent identity. It is a temporary cover identity, like the invented names Lee and Bonzu used by other characters in different circumstances. The name also connects to Aang’s pre-war life: Kuzon was the name of a Fire Nation friend he knew before the war, making the disguise personally meaningful.
