The Weebles slogan says, “Weebles wobble, but they don't fall down.” The line describes the distinctive behavior of these weighted, egg-shaped roly-poly toys.

Playskool introduced Weebles in 1971. Their rounded bodies contain a weight positioned low in the toy, so tilting one raises its center of mass. When released, gravity pulls the toy back toward its stable upright position, producing the characteristic wobble instead of a permanent tip-over.

The toys became especially popular through advertising and a range of playsets, vehicles, and character figures. The brand was associated with Playskool, then a subsidiary of Milton Bradley; Hasbro acquired Milton Bradley in 1984 and continues to market Weebles under the Playskool name. People sometimes remember the slogan as “they never fall,” but the canonical wording is “they don't fall down,” a phrase used in the original advertising and later relaunches.
