“Tremor” is a song by Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and fellow DJ and producer Martin Garrix. The collaboration became one of the defining big-room house anthems of the mid-2010s.
The track was released in 2014 through Spinnin’ Records and served as the official anthem for the Dutch dance event Sensation that year. Unlike a vocal-led pop single, “Tremor” is driven primarily by its forceful synth melody, rising tension, and large festival drop, making it especially suited to live dance-music crowds.
Martin Garrix was born Martijn Garritsen in the Netherlands and had already achieved international success with “Animals.” Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike are a Belgian DJ duo made up of brothers Dimitri and Michael Thivaios. Their shared production helped give “Tremor” its recognizable combination of Dutch EDM polish and festival-scale energy.
The title is sometimes confused with a solo Martin Garrix track because of his prominent billing. It is officially a collaboration among all three acts, and releases may list the artists in slightly different orders.
