The COVID-delayed 2020 Masters was played in which month?

The story behind the answer

The COVID-delayed 2020 Masters was played in November.

The tournament took place from November 12 through 15, 2020, at Augusta National Golf Club. It had originally been scheduled for April 9–12, but the Masters was postponed as the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the sporting calendar worldwide.

Augusta National announced the November dates in April, then confirmed in August that spectators would not attend. Moving the tournament to late autumn created shorter daylight hours and cooler conditions than players normally encounter at the spring Masters. The schedule was adjusted so the final round could finish before sunset and avoid a conflict with NFL programming on CBS.

The unusual setting did not diminish the tournament’s significance. Dustin Johnson won with a record 268, or 20 under par, while Cameron Smith became the first player to shoot in the 60s in all four rounds. The November staging remains one of the most distinctive editions in Masters history.
