The 2014 song “That’s Not Me” by Skepta features vocals from grime artist JME. JME, also known as Jamie Adenuga, is Skepta’s younger brother and a major figure in London’s grime scene.
Released on 8 June 2014, the track became the lead single from Skepta’s later album Konnichiwa. Its stripped-back production, black-and-white video style and deliberate throwback to early grime helped make it a defining track of the genre’s 2010s revival. Skepta produced the song, while both brothers contributed vocals and writing.
