Stuart Appleby was born in which country?

Stuart Appleby was born in Australia. The professional golfer was born on May 1, 1971, in Cohuna, a town in Victoria, Australia.

Appleby began playing golf in Australia before moving to the United States to pursue a professional career. He joined the PGA Tour and became known for his smooth swing, consistent ball-striking, and success in tournaments during the late 1990s and 2000s.

He won nine times on the PGA Tour, including three consecutive victories in 2004. That unusual streak came at the Mercedes Championships, the Tournament of Champions, and the BellSouth Classic. Appleby also represented Australia in the Presidents Cup.

A common mix-up is confusing Cohuna with Melbourne, Victoria’s better-known city. Cohuna is Appleby’s birthplace; the country asked for here is Australia.
