Princes Harry and William are members of what country's royal family?

Princes Harry and William are members of the United Kingdom’s royal family. Both are sons of King Charles III and Diana, Princess of Wales, and grandsons of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.

William, born in 1982, became heir apparent when his father became king in 2022. He is now the Prince of Wales and is first in line to the British throne. Harry, born in 1984, is fifth in line as of 2026 and previously held the title Duke of Sussex.

The phrase “United Kingdom” is the quiz’s expected country name, although “British royal family” is also commonly used. The family’s constitutional role is tied to the United Kingdom, whose monarch is also head of state in several other Commonwealth realms. Harry and William remain members of the royal family even though Harry and Meghan stepped back from being working royals in 2020.
