On which platforms did Cyberpunk 2077 receive its dedicated next-generation version in 2022?

Cyberpunk 2077 received dedicated next-generation versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2022. These versions launched on February 15, 2022, alongside the game’s major 1.5 update.

The original release appeared in 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows, and Stadia. Players on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One could receive the game’s next-generation upgrade on supported newer consoles.

The 2022 update added platform-specific improvements such as performance and quality modes, faster loading, visual enhancements, and other gameplay revisions. It was more than a simple change of resolution, although the exact features differed by platform.

The next-generation release should not be confused with Phantom Liberty. Phantom Liberty launched only for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, reflecting the expansion’s higher technical requirements.
