On which Nintendo system was Madden NFL 27 released?

Madden NFL 27 was released on Nintendo Switch 2.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version launched on August 13, 2026, alongside the PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S editions. It was not released on the original Nintendo Switch according to the listed platforms.

The Nintendo release is notable in the context of the series because Madden NFL 26 had already returned to Nintendo hardware through Switch 2. That made the newer Nintendo system the relevant platform for the current generation of Madden games.

Wii U is another plausible mix-up because Madden NFL 13 appeared on that system. However, Wii U belongs to an earlier console generation and is not a platform for Madden NFL 27.
