On which Mario Party 9 board are Mini Stars replaced by bananas?

On Mario Party 9’s DK’s Jungle Ruins board, Mini Stars and Mini Ztars are replaced by bananas and Z-bananas.

The board is themed around Donkey Kong and uses banana collecting as its central visual and scoring variation. Regular bananas take the place of Mini Stars, while Z-bananas function like Mini Ztars by reducing a player’s total.

DK’s Jungle Ruins is one of seven boards in Mario Party 9. Unlike the game’s five initially available boards, it is unlocked through progression and Party Points. The other boards include Toad Road, Bob-omb Factory, Blooper Beach, and Bowser Station.

This detail is easy to confuse with the game’s general scoring system, where Mini Stars are used across most boards. The banana substitution is specific to DK’s Jungle Ruins, not a series-wide Mario Party 9 rule.
