The UK version of Dragons' Den is primarily broadcast on BBC Two.
The programme launched in the United Kingdom in 2005 as a business reality series in which entrepreneurs pitch for investment from a panel of wealthy businesspeople, known as the Dragons. BBC Two has been its principal home throughout its run.
The channel is part of the BBC's television network and is traditionally associated with factual programming, documentaries, comedy and specialist series. Dragons' Den fits that profile through its focus on entrepreneurship, negotiation and business performance.
BBC One and BBC Three are separate BBC television channels, so they are common incorrect guesses. The UK programme should also not be confused with international versions of the format, which are broadcast by different networks in their respective countries.
