The unusual announcement followed a teasing campaign in which the album’s final word appeared in several cities. The full title was then revealed after being painted on a pink wall in Los Angeles, turning the outdoor display into the formal title unveiling.
The album itself was released later, on June 12, 2026, through Geffen Records. The announcement date and release date are therefore separate milestones in the album’s timeline.
The date can also be confused with the release dates of the singles. “Drop Dead,” the lead single, arrived on April 17, while “The Cure” followed on May 22. Neither date marks the album-title reveal.
