On what date was Assassin's Creed Mirage released worldwide?

The story behind the answer

Assassin's Creed Mirage was released worldwide on October 5, 2023.

Ubisoft launched Mirage for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, and Amazon Luna. The game follows Basim Ibn Ishaq in ninth-century Baghdad, before the events in which he appears as an important character in Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

Mirage was promoted as a more compact, stealth-focused experience than several of the series' large role-playing games. Its setting and structure deliberately recall earlier Assassin's Creed design, including social stealth, investigation, and a dense historical city. The game is not a remake of the original Assassin's Creed, despite its emphasis on classic series elements.

The release date can be confused with the game's original announced window, which was 2023 without a final day. Ubisoft later confirmed October 5. A planned early-access period was also discussed during promotion, but the worldwide release date remains the standard date used for the game's launch.
