On what date did AEW Dynamite premiere as a weekly television program in 2019?

AEW Dynamite premiered as a weekly television program on October 2, 2019.

The debut episode aired live from the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. It was broadcast on TNT and represented All Elite Wrestling’s first regular weekly television show. The premiere followed AEW’s launch events and pay-per-views earlier in 2019.

The opening episode included Cody Rhodes versus Sammy Guevara, Riho versus Nyla Rose for the inaugural AEW Women’s World Championship, and a six-man tag team match involving The Elite. Chris Jericho was also a central figure in the company’s early presentation.

Dynamite initially aired on Wednesday nights, creating a prominent television rivalry with WWE NXT during the Wednesday Night War period. In 2021, the program moved to TBS before returning to TNT in 2022.
