On King of the Hill, Kathy Najimy provides the voice of Peggy Hill.

Peggy is the outspoken matriarch of the Hill family, wife of Hank Hill, mother of Bobby, and aunt of Luanne Platter. Najimy’s performance gives Peggy her distinctive combination of confidence, theatrical pronunciation, misplaced certainty, and frequent malapropisms. Peggy also believes she is an excellent Spanish teacher, despite repeatedly demonstrating that her Spanish is unreliable.

Najimy voiced Peggy throughout the original run of King of the Hill, which aired from 1997 to 2010. Her work on the character earned major recognition, including an Annie Award for voice acting in an animated television production. Peggy’s personality became one of the show’s main sources of satire: she is ambitious and capable, but also vain, competitive, and often blind to her own shortcomings.
