Mega Man Powered Up was released for which Sony handheld?

Mega Man Powered Up was released for Sony’s PlayStation Portable, usually abbreviated PSP.

Capcom launched the game in 2006 as a remake of the original 1987 Mega Man. Rather than reproducing the NES game exactly, Powered Up added redesigned character models, new stage layouts, voice-acted scenes, remixed music, selectable difficulty settings, and additional playable characters.

The PSP hardware also allowed Capcom to present the game in widescreen and use a bright, chibi-inspired visual style. Players could unlock the eight Robot Masters, Roll, and Proto Man, while a level editor allowed custom stages to be created. A Challenge Mode supplied 100 separate challenges.

The PSP platform is easy to confuse with later Sony products. PlayStation Vita arrived afterward, PlayStation Portal is a modern remote-play device rather than the game’s original handheld platform, and PocketStation was a separate Japanese memory-card accessory. Powered Up was also bundled with Mega Man Maverick Hunter X in some markets.
