Touker Suleyman first joined the BBC programme Dragon's Den as a dragon in 2015.
Suleyman is a British-Cypriot entrepreneur and investor whose business interests include fashion and retail. He became part of the programme's changing investor lineup during its eleventh series, bringing experience from the clothing industry and company acquisitions to the pitch room.
His arrival followed the departure of earlier dragons and illustrated how the programme regularly refreshed its panel. The term “dragon” is the show's informal name for an investor who can offer money, contacts or expertise in exchange for a share of an entrepreneur's business.
The year can be confused with the dates of other later appointments, including the arrivals of Sarah Davies and Steven Bartlett. Those were separate changes to the panel rather than Suleyman's debut.
