In which year did Touker Suleyman first appear as a Dragon on the British show Dragons' Den?

The story behind the answer

Touker Suleyman first appeared as a Dragon on the British show Dragons' Den in 2015.

Suleyman joined the investment panel for the programme's thirteenth series. He replaced entrepreneur and investor Hilary Devey, who had departed after series 12. His arrival continued the programme's practice of refreshing the panel while retaining a mixture of retail, technology and investment experience.

Suleyman is a British-Cypriot entrepreneur whose business interests include fashion and retail. He is associated with Hawes & Curtis and Ghost, and his investment style on the programme often reflected his experience with brands, manufacturing and consumer markets.

The year can be confused with the date of the series announcement or the year another later Dragon joined. The relevant television debut was in 2015, when series 13 was broadcast. This was well after the original 2005 launch but before later additions such as Sara Davies.
