Sara Davies joined the UK television programme Dragon's Den as a Dragon in 2019.
Davies is an entrepreneur from County Durham who founded Crafter's Companion, a company serving the craft and papercraft market. Her business background gave her particular experience in product development, direct selling and building a consumer brand, all of which became relevant to her investment decisions on the programme.
She joined the panel in the seventeenth series, replacing Jenny Campbell. Davies was one of the newer-generation Dragons brought into the format after several earlier investors had departed. Her appointment also made her one of the programme's younger permanent investors.
The year can be confused with 2022, when Steven Bartlett joined the panel and became the youngest-ever Dragon. It is also separate from the date Davies founded Crafter's Companion, which began years earlier. Joining the television panel and launching an investment business are different milestones in her career.
