Sara Davies joined BBC's Dragon's Den in 2019.
Davies became a Dragon in the programme's seventeenth series, taking a seat on the panel after building Crafter's Companion into a substantial international business. Her appointment gave the show a Dragon with specialist experience in craft retail, product development and direct-to-consumer commerce.
She was the youngest-ever Dragon when she joined the programme, although later appointments changed that distinction. Davies brought a different perspective from investors whose backgrounds were primarily in property, fashion, food or technology.
The year is sometimes confused with the launch dates of Davies's earlier business ventures. Crafter's Companion began in 2005, while her Dragon's Den debut came fourteen years later. Her television appointment also predates Steven Bartlett's arrival on the panel.
