Sara Davies first became a Dragon on the UK programme Dragon's Den in 2019.
Davies joined the panel for the seventeenth series, which was broadcast in 2019. She founded Crafter's Companion, a craft-products business, while she was still a student, and her entrepreneurial background made her a distinctive addition to the panel.
Her expertise is closely connected with product development, direct selling, retail and the enthusiast market. Those areas are particularly relevant to pitches involving practical consumer products and specialist communities.
The year is sometimes confused with the series number or with the later date of other panel appointments. Davies was not part of the original 2005 line-up, and her arrival followed several changes among the early Dragons. The question refers to her first appearance as a regular Dragon on the UK programme, rather than a later guest role or another country's adaptation.
