Sara Davies first appeared as an investor on Dragon's Den in 2019.
Davies joined the BBC programme in 2019, bringing experience from Crafter's Companion, the craft company she had started in 2005. Her appointment added a younger entrepreneur with expertise in product development, direct-to-consumer retail and the craft market.
Her arrival followed the departure of several earlier Dragons and marked a new phase in the show's changing investment panel. Davies has often been associated with pitches involving creative products, family businesses and companies selling through retail or online channels.
The year 2019 refers to her first appearance as a Dragon, not the year she founded Crafter's Companion. That business began in 2005, fourteen years before her television debut, so the two dates should not be conflated.
