Sara Davies first appeared as a Dragon on the British TV series Dragon's Den in 2019.
Davies joined the panel in 2019, bringing the programme a new investor with a background in craft retail and product entrepreneurship. Her appointment followed the departure of other Dragons and reflected the show's continuing practice of refreshing its panel.
Before television, Davies had already built Crafter's Companion into an international business. That experience gave her first-hand knowledge of manufacturing, customer communities, direct-to-consumer sales and brand development.
The year is sometimes confused with later panel changes, especially the arrival of newer Dragons in the early 2020s. Davies's debut year was 2019, not 2021. Her tenure also followed the period when Kelly Hoppen and Nick Jenkins had appeared on the programme.
