In which year did Rolls-Royce introduce the Dawn convertible?

The story behind the answer

Rolls-Royce introduced the Dawn convertible in 2015.

The Dawn was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2015 and entered the modern Rolls-Royce range as a four-seat convertible. It shared its broad mechanical basis with the Wraith but used a distinct body and a fabric roof.

Rolls-Royce described the Dawn as a model intended to offer open-air luxury without sacrificing the brand’s characteristic refinement. Its roof could be operated electrically, and the cabin used high-grade leather, wood and metal trim. The car’s rear-hinged rear doors continued a familiar Rolls-Royce design feature.

The name Dawn had historical precedent: Rolls-Royce had used it for a limited-production model in the 1950s. The modern Dawn should therefore not be confused with the earlier Silver Dawn, which was produced from 1949 to 1955.
