Kelly Hoppen joined the investor panel on the British show Dragon's Den in 2013.
The interior designer entered the programme as an investor during the show's later panel era, bringing a background in residential and commercial design rather than the retail, finance or technology expertise associated with several other Dragons. Her appointment added another specialist business perspective to the panel.
Hoppen remained on Dragon's Den until 2015. That departure year is a common source of confusion because it is close to her joining date, but 2013 is the year she first became a Dragon. Her television role formed part of a wider public career that included design products, books and media work.
