Kelly Hoppen first joined BBC's Dragon's Den as a Dragon in 2013.
Hoppen, an internationally known interior designer and businesswoman, joined the programme during its eleventh series. Her appointment added a Dragon whose career was rooted in design, interiors, licensing and product branding rather than conventional finance alone.
She had established the Kelly Hoppen brand before appearing on television, developing a distinctive design style and commercial business around interiors. Her participation therefore brought a different type of entrepreneurial experience to the panel.
The date is sometimes confused with the arrivals of Touker Suleyman and Nick Jenkins, who joined later, or Sara Davies, who joined in 2019. Those are separate panel changes in the programme's history.
