In which U.S. city is Netflix's corporate headquarters located?

Netflix's corporate headquarters is located in Los Gatos, California.

Netflix was founded in 1997 by Reed Hastings and Marc Randolph and began as a DVD-by-mail rental business. Its headquarters in Los Gatos places the company in Silicon Valley, an area known for technology companies and venture-backed innovation. Netflix later transformed its business by introducing internet streaming and then producing and distributing original films and television series.

The Los Gatos headquarters is not the same as every Netflix production or regional office. The company maintains offices and production activity in places including Los Angeles, New York, London, Amsterdam, and Mumbai. Its entertainment footprint is therefore much broader than its corporate address.

San Francisco and San Jose are nearby technology centers that can cause confusion. Los Angeles is also strongly associated with Netflix because of Hollywood production. The specific headquarters location, however, is Los Gatos.
