The British television show Dragons' Den introduced Kelly Hoppen as a Dragon in series 11.
Hoppen joined the investor panel in 2013, appearing alongside the established Dragons who assessed entrepreneurs’ business proposals. She is an interior designer whose work is associated with a minimalist style often described through neutral colours, clean lines and understated luxury.
Her appointment broadened the panel’s professional mix beyond retail, finance and technology backgrounds. Series numbers can be confusing because the programme has run for many years and has used different broadcast schedules, but Hoppen’s regular Dragons' Den tenure began with series 11. She later left the panel, while continuing her design and business activities outside the programme.
