Sara Davies first appeared as a Dragon in series 17 of the BBC show Dragons' Den.
Her appointment was announced ahead of the 2019 series, when she joined the panel as a new investor. Davies brought experience from Crafter's Companion, the craft business she founded in 2005. Her arrival continued the programme's practice of refreshing its panel with entrepreneurs from different sectors.
Series numbers can be confused with calendar years because the programme is broadcast in series rather than being labelled by a single season year. Davies's first series was 17, not 18: series 18 followed with the same broad era of the programme. She became especially associated with consumer products, retail and craft businesses.
