Hilary Devey first appeared as an investor in series 10 of the British programme Dragon's Den.
Devey joined the BBC series in 2011, becoming one of the investors who followed the original panel. She was known for building Pall-Ex, a palletised freight network that connects independent transport companies for the movement of freight across Britain and Europe.
Her arrival expanded the programme's range of business expertise. Devey brought particular experience in logistics, freight and transport, areas that differ from the retail, technology and consumer-product backgrounds associated with several other Dragons.
Hilary Devey is sometimes mixed up with later female investors because Dragon's Den has had several women on its panel over different periods. Her series-10 debut specifically places her among the programme's second-generation Dragons rather than its original five-investor panel.
