In which series did Hilary Devey become a Dragon on the British show Dragon's Den?

The story behind the answer

Hilary Devey became a Dragon on the British show Dragon's Den in series 9.

Devey joined the BBC programme in 2011, bringing experience from the freight and logistics sector. She was the founder and chief executive of Pall-Ex, a palletised freight network, and became known for an energetic, commercially focused style on the panel.

Her arrival followed changes among the earlier investors and gave the programme a Dragon whose business background was strongly connected with transport, distribution and logistics. She remained associated with the series for a limited period rather than becoming one of its longest-serving investors.

The series number is easy to confuse because Dragon's Den has had many panel changes. Series 9 identifies Devey's regular-panel debut, not a guest appearance or a later television role.
